About
Founded in 2003 by Len Templeton, Templeton Financial Services is a fixed income money manager based in Arizona. Fixed income isn’t something we do – it’s all we do. Combining expertise and institutional market access, we act as a separate account manager to build customized fixed income portfolios that serve the unique needs of our clients.
When you work with TFS, you’re not buying a cookie-cutter strategy; you’re hiring a team of professionals to create fixed income solutions that serve client-specific investment objectives. Taxable or tax-free, state-specific or national, we aim to be the best possible partner for you.
Josh Johnson
CEO
Josh has been with Templeton Financial working in multiple capacities since 2018. Josh earned his M.Ed. from the University of Minnesota, but his most valuable learning experience has occurred under the mentorship of Len Templeton. Sitting next to Len for years in the TFS trading room, Josh has learned the art of security valuation and selection, trading, and portfolio management. He is passionate about engineering customized portfolios to maximize tax-free income streams for clients, knowing that every client has unique income and tax needs. Josh also enjoys becoming the fixed income solution for financial advisors and clients to serve them for the long haul.
Before Templeton, Josh held various positions at Cru (an international non-profit ministry) where he led teams in multiple states and countries. He was charged with setting strategy, problem solving, raising funds, coaching, mentoring, and building leaders that would bring value to their neighborhoods and cities.
What Josh loves the most is spending time with his wife and chasing around his 4 kids. Whether it is football, basketball, soccer, or reading books with his youngest – he is living the dream. He is active in his church, the FPA, enjoys hanging out with friends, and is a sports junkie.
